At the early age of 10, I began putting my mother’s shoes in color and heal length order.  Since that time organizing has become a hobby, a passion and a necessity. I created SatisFunctional Spaces LLC in 2004. Prior to committing to Organization as a profession, I received a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in the Science of Taxation from the University of Miami.  I became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989 and spent 5 years working in the tax department of PriceWaterhouseCoopers. There I specialized in real estate development, professional sports and multi-state taxation. After moving out of public accounting, I worked as the Tax Manager at a publicly traded corporation with over 200 stores nationwide and gross sales in excess of $200 million dollars.

Later, I established a successful retail business in South Miami, Florida. Here I reinforced my procedural knowledge and learned more about the operational side of businesses. Without question, my professional experiences have honed my skills as an organizer. However, it is constantly being reinforced by my passion to help others and to provide solutions for the organization of both specialized and every day challenges.

I have been active with the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) since 2005.  Shortly after joining NAPO, I became involved with the National Studies Group of Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD).  I am continually furthering my education by attending NSGCD training sessions. I have earned Level I Certificates of Study in Chronic Disorganization, Basic ADD Issues with the CD Client, Understanding the Needs of Elderly CD Clients, Basic Hoarding Issues with the CD Client.
